We are looking for a Part-Time Design Consultant to join our growing team! The role of the Design Consultant is to maximize sales and deliver an exceptional customer experience. In this exciting retail sales role, you will be creating lasting relationships with clients while assisting with the selection, customization, and purchase of furniture and home goods. The Design Consultant will have the ability to evaluate each client's need for guidance, and match their requirements to the benefits of the products we offer.

Design Consultant Job Responsibilities:

• Achieve monthly sales and productivity goals

• Demonstrate strong product knowledge (furniture, accessories, fabrics, etc.)

• Deliver excellent customer service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

• Perform proactive and consistent follow-up with all visitors

• Evaluate customer needs and provide the necessary expertise to guide them in crafting a personalized interior space

• Perform all opening and closing duties as directed

• Work in collaboration with all team members

Design Consultant Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification

• Knowledge and passion for interior design and home decor

• Previous experience working in a high end retail environment

• Strong leadership and customer management abilities

• Customer service-oriented

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A keen eye for detail and an interest in helping customers choose the right furniture and decor for their home

Starting pay is $20/hour with opportunities for bonuses.
